“Valentines” is the theme of our eighth annual Thunder Road Crab Feast, silent auction, and raffle, scheduled for 6 p.m., Saturday, February 4, at San Leandro’s Marina Community Center. Tickets are $75 for the popular event, which benefits Thunder Road, California’s only residential substance abuse recovery program for teens. Last year’s event raised a record $45,000 toward program scholarships.

There’ll be a healthy dose of entertainment this year provided by Professional Courtesy, a jazz ensemble comprised of Alta Bates Summit physicians. The silent auction will feature everything from restaurant gift certificates to weekend getaways.
