9th Annual Thunder Road Crab Feast

The 9 th annual Thunder Road Crab Feast, held February 3 at the San Leandro Marina Community Center, was a spectacular success! More than 100 volunteers pitched in to serve 900 + pounds of crab, plus pasta salad, Caesar salad, and garlic bread. Volunteers were also on hand to sell raffle tickets, hand out lei’s for the island-theme event, and generally ensure that our 300+ guests were well fed and well taken care of! Bob Sarlatte MC’d the event, providing a dash of humor and a scoop celebrity appeal. Kids from Thunder Road performed a spicy trapeze routine, earning a  well-deserved standing ovation. More than $54,000 was raised at this year’s event to benefit treatment for teens in recovery at Thunder Road. Thank you everyone who contributed to this amazing event!
