17 th Annual Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic Featuring Lindsay Davenport and Tracy Austin

Golfers will tee off on September 8th at the beautiful Diablo Country Club, and tennis players will serve aces at the historic Berkeley Tennis Club on September 20th. Both days will offer lots of fun and excitement, with great food, entertainment, awards, and the opportunity to bid on great auction items. And as if that weren’t enough, local tennis pros and celebrities from the sports and media arenas will be participating in the tournaments! Our Center Court exhibition tennis legends are Lindsay Davenport and Tracy Austin. Golf or tennis, the classic is a great chance for you to have fun and help a worthy cause.

Proceeds from the 2008 Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic will benefit programs for youth: Thunder Road, Alta Bates Summit's life-changing recovery program for drug and alcohol abuse for youth and their families and Youth Bridge, a mentoring program that pairs teens with a mentor at the medical center and provides an introduction to the medical professions. This event will also benefit a number of other life saving programs and services that the Alta Bates Summit provides to meet the health care needs.
