We are proud to present the 17th Annual Celebrity Classic with golfers teeing off on September 8 at the Diablo Country Club and tennis players serving aces at the Berkeley Tennis Club on September 20. Both days offer wonderful food, entertainment, awards, auctions and raffles. This year’s Celebrity Pro/Am Tennis Classic will feature headline players Lindsay Davenport and Tracy Austin in mid-day exhibition matches. There will also be mixed doubles matches throughout the day, with sponsored players competing with and against celebrities and local professional players. Whether your preference is golf, tennis or the celebrity beat, this is a great chance to have fun and help a worthy cause.
Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, located in the East Bay Area of Northern California, has been providing quality, compassionate care to the people of our community for almost a century. Proceeds of the 2008 Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic will benefit Thunder Road, a life-changing substance abuse recovery program for at-risk youth and their families and Youth Bridge, a mentoring career program that pairs teens with a mentor at Alta Bates Summit, as well as a number of other programs and services that the Medical Ceet the health care needs of the people it serves.

Sponsors at the Masters level and above will be permanently recognized on the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Donor Walls. All other sponsorship categories of at least $1,000 will receive one year’s recognition on the Walls.
